ME2: Kasumi and whoever else fits. Kasumi is just amazing, in general. Mordin goes on any mission that involves experimenting or illness. He has a lot of great lines. The rest rotate in and out. Usually replacing Mordin, not Kasumi. ME3: Garrus/Tali/Liara/EDI Edi goes on most missions. Sometimes Javik will get thrown into a party.

Biotic users are the best squad members. Especially later in the game with more of their abilities decked out. You get rushed a lot and the squadmates with crowd control abilities are just God tier. In ME2, Miranda has to be God tier. I think her AI is great and the squad bonuses she has are better than every other squadmate.
